On behalf of Perubatan Kecemasan Sabah, Emergency and Trauma Department Hospital Queen Elizabeth and Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Sabah; it is great pleasure that I would like to announce and welcome you to Borneo EMTS Solidarity Triumphant Conference (BEST-CON) 2023 that will be held from 13-15 June 2023 in Shangrila Tanjung Aru, Sabah .
The conference theme is Odyssey: Learn From The Past, Prepare for the Future. Learning from the past is essential to one's development and can lead to fascinating adventure.
Emergency service in Sabah has shown a tremendous growth over the years and with the vast expansion of service and growing numbers of emergency providers, we are excited to host this conference where we invited numerous experience speakers from in and out of Sabah to share their knowledge and skills.
The conference will start with a preconference workshop where we showcase emergency services from past and the future. There will be 5 tracks for the participants to choose from.
The BEST-CON 2023 will then be followed by a 2 days programme where numerous esteem speakers from emergency medicine, surgical, internal medicine and public health were invited. We hope that our participants will be able to gain valuable knowledge and insight from our experienced speakers. Learning from their critical view and experience, for us to prepare for the future.
Lastly, as the name imply, Borneo EMTS Solidarity Triumphant; I hope to see all of you in this land below the wind for a celebration of knowledge and also to experience the beauty of Sabah and it's load of fun activities. So put the dates in your calendar and see you.
